The moisture content of cardboard refers to the weight of moisture contained in the cardboard as a percentage of the total weight of the cardboard. The moisture content of cardboard will affect the physical properties of cardboard, and thus the strength of cardboard.
If the moisture content of the cardboard is too high, the cardboard will become soft, have poor stiffness, and the compressive strength and bursting strength will also be reduced. This is because moisture softens the fibers in the cardboard and reduces the bond between the fibers,
making the cardboard more susceptible to deformation and cracking. On the contrary, if the moisture content of the cardboard is too low, the cardboard will become too brittle and prone to cracking, and the compressive strength and bursting resistance will also be affected. This is because too little moisture can cause the fibers in the cardboard to become dry, brittle, and lack flexibility, making the cardboard more susceptible to breakage.
Therefore, in order to ensure that the cardboard has sufficient strength, the moisture content of the cardboard needs to be controlled within
an appropriate range. Generally speaking, the moisture content of cardboard should be determined according to the specific use requirements
and production process, usually between 10% and 12%.
Managers in charge of Corrugator line production know that the problem of high moisture content of cardboard is easy to solve. We can solve the problem of high moisture content of Kraft paper by adjusting the glue and controlling the temperature of the preheating roller.

Place B: Inner side of the spray paper before glue machine (adhesive side)
Effect:replenish moisture for the surface paper before the cardboard is formed.
Solve cardboard warping. Prevent face paper from bursting.
Place C: Double-facer machine inlet spray paper. before the cardboard forming
Effect: replenish the moisture in the paper and solve the problem under the cardboard Bent, paper burst line.
Place D -Spray outer facing/inner facing before slitter scorer machine
Effect: replenish moisture to the cardboard, completely solve the cardboard burst line and delay Long cardboard storage time.
